A fantastic opportunity for someone with an operational background, previous transactional experience, deal experience and perhaps some management consultancy expertise (is necessary for the senior roles) to join this leading team in one of the Big 4. This team support their Transaction Services team to win and deliver operational advisory engagements.
This team has developed from undertaking commercial due diligence to providing advise to clients across a wide range of deal related issues including pre-deal option evaluation, market entry strategy, synergy evaluation, business and deal modelling and post deal integration/separation assistance.
This team has grown rapidly over the last few years with annual growth over 50% per annum. It is expected to make a major ongoing contribution to the growth of Transactions Services over the next 3-5 years. As part of its development this team is seeking to expand its base of operational expertise by recruiting a team of talented, committed, operationally focussed individuals.
The role will also require you to develop stand-alone opportunities and on-going client relationships They work with a wide range of clients including publicly listed corporates, private companies, private equity investors and public sector organisations looking at deal related issues.
Who we're looking for
We are particularly keen to recruit people from a Financial Services background with expertise in performance improvement. You will need an excellent degree level of education, commercial experience, an analytical approach and have excellent financial acumen . Your background should include synergy/integration work and you must be able to demonstrate where you have added value. For the more Senior level along with your operational background -you must have experience of management consultancy along with Deal experience. Candidates will be expected to have as a minimum the following consultancy skills (internal or external):
•Planning and budgeting
•Programme management
•Facilitation
•Presentation (oral and written)
•Analysis and problem solving
•Process redesign/improvement techniques They will be trained at least to degree level. Ideally with additional qualification (MBA or other) and membership of appropriate industry associations.
Any languages in addition to English would be a bonus.
Finally, individuals should be comfortable working in the high pressured yet often ambiguous conditions that characterise transactions.
