Corporate Defence Legal Assistant

This opportunity with a leading Top Tier will be based in the Manchester. My client is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant who will be comfortable dealing with large volumes of documentation and ideally possess some experience sitting in at court with clients & counsel. The successful applicant would be expected to concentrate on regulatory matters of various kinds with most emphasis on fraud related work.

Who we're looking for
You will have at least 6 months previous experience of criminal law processes and procedure, be comfortable dealing with large volumes of documentation and ideally possess some experience sitting in at court with clients and counsel. Excellent organisation, communication and time-management skills are vital.

About our client
My client is an international Private Practice entity. Their corporate defence team includes experienced commercial and criminal defence lawyers, specialist investigators and former employees of many of the regulatory authorities. The national team includes a 60 strong team of lawyers, including 15 partners based throughout the UK. The team works closely with colleagues, both corporate crime and investigations experts and regulatory specialists, in other jurisdictions with similar experience, as much of the work handled has an international element.
