Reporting to the Commercial Director and Regional Managing Director, based in the Yorkshire, you will need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record to date with experience of house building. You will be heavily involved in pricing and project management to ensure delivery of the agreed service whilst managing up to 10 direct reports. The role itself is part of the Senior Management Team briefed to have a fully empowered role looking after the company's commercial and financial activities within the contract and estimating functions. The role will require you to be extremely commercially astute and have several years experience of managing teams.

Who we're looking for
The successful Commercial Manager will need at least 3 years experience of operating in this role for a sizeable organisation within the house building market and will need to demonstrate the following:

• Experience in Managing a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Good communicator who is confident dealing with the client as well as managing a team.
• PC skills to an advanced level.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative.
• Industry recognised Quantity Surveying qualification.
