Senior Surveyor

Efficiently direct and manage the Surveying / Commercial activities to meet the Project objectives, including providing advice, guidance and support on such matters to the Project team both during the pre-construction & construction phases.
To be able to Provide independent Commercial assurance to the Project Managers and the Company. The role requires extensive experience in Project Surveying and Commercial Management of the construction process. Ensure that these activities are planned, managed and monitored in a way that supports the project objectives and reflects 'best practice'

Who we're looking for
This should include actions that contribute to maximising the return on capital and shareholder value, your duties will include the following.
• Liaises with estimating department to determine allowances in tender sum for specification and employer's requirements.
• Prepares contract cash flow for Client.
• Prepares Production Forecast cash flow and monitors on monthly basis.
• Agrees main contract interim and final accounts including any variations.
• Prepares and submits notices and applications for Client / Agent for Extension of Time claims.
• Prepares monthly cost value reconciliation and other financial information.
• Prepares Subcontract tender documentation, analyses tender returns and makes recommendations on subcontractor selection.
• Agrees subcontractors interim and final accounts including and variations.
• Authorises subcontractors certificates for payment up to appropriate value
