Working with key contacts across the Division, you will manage the ongoing delivery, development and implementation of the Operational Risk reporting requirements within Finance to minimise capital requirements and losses within tolerance and to demonstrate effective management to the FSA.
In addition to the BAU responsibilities of managing the delivery of the function's operational risk reporting requirements, the role will increasingly involve supporting development activity and improving understanding, challenge and reporting on the link between operational failures and our financial risks.
This role provides a strong degree of challenge and has the scope for you to make a sustained and valued contribution across the Division.
Who we're looking for
• Educated to degree level.
• A relevant professional qualification e.g. Chartered Accountant, Chartered Certified Accountant, or member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
• Track record of experience and delivery in a management consultancy or analytical role with exposure to a significant number of business areas in a consultancy or analytical capacity.
• Proven ability to manage significant projects effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously and on own initiative to develop ideas and solutions.
• Excellent planning and organisation skills, with a proven ability to prioritise effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to influence at a senior level.
