The Head of Democratic and Legal Services is looking for a Solicitor or Barrister to lead the Legal Services Unit. To be considered for this position you must be able to deliver a wide range of legal services to include:
• Advising the Council on procurement and development issues, planning, licensing
and litigation
• Acting as the Council's Deputy Monitoring Officer
• Representing the Head of Democratic and Legal Services at external meetings, Member meetings, Officer and Member Working Groups
• Managing the Legal Services Unit
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have local government experience. You must be a self motivated, confident individual who is able to work as part of a team and have the ability to deliver high quality services in a changing environment.

Rugby Borough is set in East Warwickshire and has a population of just over 91,000. Well situated, the town is easily accessible from both the M1 and M6.
