The purpose of this role is to provide support in providing high quality tax advice and solutions to individuals, companies and other clients. Your principal responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with the preparation of client tax returns (personal and corporate), ensuring information is correct and submitted to the inland Revenue (and overseas tax authorities) before the due date
• Assisting with client and 3rd party relationships, responding quickly to client needs, keeping informed and in touch.
• Liaising with clients on tax compliance issues and ensuring that deadlines are met
• Effective liaison with counterparts in accounts department
• Dealing with Inland Revenue enquiries by letter and telephone and agreeing satisfactory conclusions in conjunction with Manager
• Supporting managers on tax planning and accounts preparation
• Assisting manager with billing
Who we're looking for
This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant with 1-2 years experience in a similar role in Practice. You must have excellent analytical and numerical skills and be able to work effectively as a member of a busy team.
