Merchandising Manager - Cinema

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, your goal will be to ensure that all film & product merchandising, guest facing communication and space within the public areas of the cinema reflect the brand values and are used to optimum effect to maximise financial return for the business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Optimising commercial opportunities through effective use of merchandising
• Creating and implementing consistent merchandising standards across the business
• Planning, analysing and reporting to measure business impact and return on investment
• Managing 3rd party relationships
• Budgeting
• New cinema openings
• Working with key Vue stakeholders to deliver effective merchandising initiatives and standards

Who we're looking for
• Merchandising specialist with extensive experience at management level
• Previous experience gained in a fast moving multi site retail, leisure, hospitality environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Commercial acumen
• Strategic and pragmatic approach - ability to operate both strategically as well as taking a "hands on" approach when needed
• Analytical
• Creative
