Reporting to the Project Director you will have full autonomy of sites ranging in value from £100k to £1m in and around the London area. As Project Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of between 10 and 40 site staff including a Site Manager, Foremen and working closely with a Design Manager. You will be working with some of the highest quality materials available and your duties will include:
• Site Management and co-ordination
• Health & Safety
• Liaising between the client, contractors,suppliers and consultancies
• Leading meetings and implementing change
• Consulting with the client and facilitating the implementation of design change
• Driving project programme
• Controlling cost and ensuring profitability
Who we're looking for
• Ideally from a carpentry or interior design background, you will have experience of managing very high spec refurbishment projects in a range of environments.
• Ideally you will be proficient in AUTOCAD although not essential as theremay be the need to hand detail and transfer into working drawings during design consultation with the client.
• You will be open minded and a lateral thinker displaying ambition and intuity
• You will have a very consultative approach, often working through design changes hand in hand with the client
• Ideally you will have experience of working on both internal and external refurbishments
• A working knowledge of French would be advantageous but Italian, German and especially Portuguese would be useful
