This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Insolvency Lawyer to join this group which is part of the firm's Commercial litigation and Dispute Resolution (CDR) department . The successful candidate will work closely with the partner and the senior assistant to provide assistance and run files independently. Business development is an important part of this practice area, and the successful candidate will be involved from the outset. The group carries out a range of contentious and non-contentious personal and corporate insolvency work, acting for insolvency practitioners, banks, asset based lenders and other financial institutions, companies, directors and shareholders.
Who we're looking for
Candidates with an interest in insolvency work and transferable skills will be considered, however the role is most suited to candidates with a background in both contentious and non-contentions insolvency work (a specialisation in one or other may be considered). In addition, some insolvency property experience would be an advantage.
For a candidate with insolvency experience, a good technical understanding of how insolvency "works" is essential.
For NQ solicitors, experience of trainee seats in litigation, corporate recovery, insolvency and/or banking will be an advantage.
