Opportunities to join niche insurance litigation practice dedicated to defending professional and other liability claims.
You will be handling claims on behalf of insurers and primarily professional indemnity claims including advising as to coverage, reserving, liability of the Insured, quantum. One position is available with a solicitor's negligence focus and the second has a construction and general negligence focus.
The office has a well established client base consisting of major insurers and the need to recruit new claims handlers has arisen due to an increase in instructions/client base.
Who we're looking for
Competent claims handler experienced in interpreting professional indemnity policy wordings. The Professional Indemnity claims incorporate all classes (including solicitor, financial, construction, surveyors etc)
Excellent written skills- report writing is a key element of the job
Motivated and enthusiastic
Excellent communication skills
Well organised and able to work to deadlines
Confident and robust personality
