You will join the BT Wholesale Customer Bids & Sales Legal team to oversee a range of exciting commercial deals. Within this friendly and collegiate environment you will have the opportunity to work in and across the various divisions of the BTW Commercial Legal Team.
A significant part of your role will involve negotiating, drafting and reviewing high-value and/or complex contracts in accordance with the relevant legal and regulatory framework affecting BTW's business - ensuring that the company's legal and commercial interests are properly protected. The role will encompass a variety of work from bespoke solutions to on occasion outsourcing agreements, where you will also tackle a raft of issues in areas such as employment and corporate due diligence.
Who we're looking for
You must have demonstrable experience in handling complex multi-million pound commercial deals from start to completion - gained either in-house or in private practice. Prior familiarity with telecoms law/experience is desirable, but strong candidates with exposure to similar or related areas of industry are welcome to apply. An innovative, pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving is crucial, as is your ability to organise your time and workload effectively. You must be an enthusiastic team-player with the ability to work effectively in and with multi-disciplinary teams, as well as independently.
