Reporting to the Head of Demand Planning, you will be responsible for preparing an unconstrained demand forecast for your chosen business unit, based on a statistical analysis of sales history together with an analysis of market and trade intelligence.
Working closely with the commercial teams you will review the sales forecast, challenge variances and influence key people involved in the process. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct transfer of data between the forecast systems, maintenance and resolving queries. Working alongside the category team, your aim is to drive forecast accuracy and stock availability in store.
Heinz is all about variety, so in addition there is the exciting opportunity to get involved with key projects within the forecast arena.
Who we're looking for
You will have demand planning experience, preferably within an FMCG/Retail business with the ability to influence, challenge and drive collaboration at senior levels. The successful candidate will also be:
• Highly customer focused both internally and externally
• Analytical and possess excellent presentation and PC skills
• Have the ability to build and develop effective working relationships
• Have an abiding interest in the products that Heinz offers
• Highly numerate
