Quantity Surveyor

Working under the Commercial Manager, this is a key position where the individual will be responsible for commercially managing a project within the business' portfolio, including producing CVR's and Final Accounts.

Who we're looking for
Key elements for the role include:
• Provable high-end commercial experience in construction, with a background in building services
• To possess a "user-friendliness" in terms of how they would deal with existing clients
• A well organised, methodical and accomplished Quantity Surveyor
• Capable of dealing with every facet of the construction process from initial client brief through to ultimate handover on site
• The willingness to work on the entire breadth of the project portfolio and not just the "flagship" projects
• Ambition to take their career forward within the business

Key skills and experience include:
• Preferably degree or further degree qualified, but with a minimum of HNC qualification
• A proven track record of working in a fast paced, challenging commercial environment, preferably with data centre experience<BR>• Ability to bring a project in on time and on budget
• Strong knowledge and practical working experience of contract law (including NEC, JCT etc.)
