Infinis is a successful and rapidly growing business, and the UK's largest purely renewable energy generator - an organisation with ambitions to be one of Europe's leading players in the energy sector. They are looking to expand their Northampton team by appointing a Tax & Treasury Manager.
This role is a truly rare opportunity to get into a business that is going places. A pivotal role where your expertise will be called upon to shape the growth and profits in a controlled but successful manner. Working closely alongside both the Infinis Finance Director and counterparts within their private equity owners, Terra Firma you'll be responsible for a variety of key area's covering:
Reviewing group structures to maximise tax opportunities
Initiating transfer pricing across the group - management charges, cross charging etc
Providing tax advice surrounding potential acquisitions
Ensuring the business is compliant in terms of statutory returns (Corporation tax, VAT, PAYE)
Maintaining robust cashflow forecasting for the Group
Managing Bank relationships to ensure best deals are won for Infinis
Initiating and controlling overnight deposits and long term investments
Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified Specialist (ACA, CTA, ACT) and have worked within a recognised firm of Chartered Accountants (ideally Top 4).
Extensive knowledge of tax across all area's with an awareness of commerciality to benefit what is a complex structure within the Group
Dedicated in terms of work ethic but with a sense of fun and realism to work efficiently within what is a challenging and varied working environment.
A genuine problem solver who can approach Senior Management with workable solutions that have been thought through and tested for feasibility
