Reportingto the Operations Director, you will ensure that this substantial distribution operation achieves all financial and operational KPI's, overseeing all Transport, Warehouse HR and Financial and strategic aspects of the site. You will be required to lead, coach and develop the management team and through them an effective workforce. You will liaise with the customer to identify opportunities and undertake initiatives to support the customers business strategy.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate for this role will be a distribution specialist of the highest calibre who has previously run large, high volume operations. Commercially and financially astute, you will be able to communicate at a senior level and be capable of seeing the bigger picture. A consummate people manager with a charismatic personality and capable of delivering quick wins and identifying areas for operational improvement.
