Associate Director - Liquidity Management

Assist in formulating and maintaining policy for liquidity management under normal and stressed conditions

In concert with the Head of Risk and Liquidity Policy, ensure that the following are delivered by the Bank's Treasury for the benefit of the group
Governance and Policy
 Maintain and develop the Principal Risk for Liquidity
 Ensure the requirements for the Principal Risk are effectively communicated and embedded within the businesses
 Provide assurance to the Group Treasurer and Board Risk Committee that the requirements of the Principal Risk have been met.
Stress testing liquidity & contingency funding
• Maintain and improve liquidity stress testing methodologies and associated reporting requirements
• Maintain and evolve the Group's contingency funding plan
Intraday liquidity and collateral management
 Maintain and develop the process for managing intraday liquidity and the allocation of collateral to support payment and settlement systems.

Who we're looking for

 Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and regulatory change
 Knowledge of internal, domestic and international payment and settlement systems
 Knowledge of domestic and international money market operations
 An ability to communicate at all levels inside and outside the Group
 Knowledge of wholesale and retail banking and the cash flow effects of the products which are offered.
 A good understanding of how financial instruments work
