The role includes:
• Reporting to the corporate finance director and team, preparation of detailed and accurate forecasts and cashflow projections.
• Interpretation of accounts and assessing values of businesses both for sale and purchase purposes. To include research in businesses for sale.
• Dealing with corporate finance projects; being acquisitions, disposals, share valuations and whitewash procedures.
• Reading detailed contracts and liaising with solicitors on issues that may be relevant.
• Communicating with clients, purchasers, vendors and banks that are involved in deals.
• Planning workflow and meeting deadlines.
• Working closely with the tax team on tax aspects of corporate finance work.
• Attendance at networking and marketing events.

This job description is subject to annual review but applicants should be aware that corporate finance work is based on long and sometimes unsociable hours to ensure a project is completed on time. The successful applicant will need to be aware that working hours will not always be 9am - 5pm.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have knowledge of accounts, spreadsheets, analytical review procedures and cash flow forecasting. A professional qualification, some knowledge of Corporate Finance work and a working knowledge of tax is desirable but not an essential requirement of the post as training will be given.

It is essential that they have a full, clean driving licence and their own vehicle and are prepared to work in the local area.

The individual will ideally be friendly, self-confident, self starting, somewhat self reliant, decisive within their own area of knowledge, thorough, methodical and organised. They will be an excellent communicator with enthusiasm, dedication and drive. It is essential that they are motivated to provide high level of professional service to clients and contacts.
