Reporting into the National Sales Director you will be responsible for all FTSE 250 sales activity throughout the South West.
This role is home based and will involve a high degree of new business generation. Each sale will range from £1-5million worth of revenue.
Key Areas of responsibility
• Developing and implementing a specific sales plan forSouth Westin line with the company's overall Strategy
• Maintaining CRM with up to date client and market information
• Identify the market opportunities, both regionally and by sector through the sales database
• Build and develop a customer base and nurture solid customer relationships
• Deliver sales targets consistently communication and reporting skills
• Identify specific market sector requirements and develop strategic solutions to "bring to market"
• Lead sales, bid and tender processes for major opportunities
Who we're looking for
• You will have a proven track record in a senior sales role dealing at director level.
• Experience of working in a customer service orientated industry I.e. hospitality, leisure, travel, other support service providers
• A track record of success in achieving sales growth
• Experience of winning contracts to an annual value of over £1million
• You must be able to demonstrate excellent internal and external customer focus
• Excellent communication and reporting skills - both verbal, written and presentational
• Capable of building close working relationships
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills
• Experienced in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•A driving licence is essential along with flexibility to travel throughout Ireland and the UK
