In this mainly office-based role you will be required to spend the majority of your time preparing and making outgoing telephone calls following up internally generated leads. You will be required to gain sufficient knowledge of Learning Tree's products and generate credibility with the customer in order to convert at least 10% of these calls into firm orders or course bookings. Whilst activity generates success, this does not equate to 'cold calling'.
More specifically you will be:
• Managing and prioritising leads generated as the basis of a daily action plan.
• Generating and increasing revenues by selling Learning Tree's values and products to key contacts and individuals within your territory.
• Effectively managing your territory to ensure consistency of performance and accuracy of forecasts.
• Pro-actively meeting and exceeding productivity targets and adhere to Corporate policies and procedures.
• Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure that internal and external customers consistently receive the highest levels of service.
• Occasionally organising and conducting well-qualified meetings with key decision makers in your territory.
Who we're looking for
Of graduate calibre you will demonstrate:
• A proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and sales targets, ideally in a telesales business-business environment - this does not have to be IT or training based.
• Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
• Energy and enthusiasm with a 'can do' mentality.
• High levels of motivation, a team player mentality and the capability to influence a wide range of personalities.
• Target orientation with a desire to build a career of high achievement.
• A desire for a challenging,fast changing, innovative role.

What's on offer
Up to £21,900 Base + £14,000 Bonus + Benefits.
FY07 salary ranges for the role were between £34k and £46k with those achieving target also earning entry to President's Club, an annual overseas 'adventure' trip!
