The role of senior sales and marketing manager is vital to the continued growth of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following activities;
• Development and implementation of the marketing strategy. It is essential that candidates have a full marketing skill set to deliver an integrated and targeted approach to the market - to drive both passenger and non-passenger revenue growth
•Primary responsibility for the creation and delivery of the customer service proposition
• Understanding the appropriate use of communications channels for delivering key messages to a diverse consumer base.
• Excellent understanding of customer segmentation strategy and putting systems in place to facilitate the output.
• Provide market research and analytical insight into the current and emerging market.
• Maintenance and improvement of the marketing database.
• Management and production of all marketing materials, ensuring corporate brand and message consistency.
• Liaising and managing key relationships with external suppliers
• Providing support to the wider programme of external relations activities, such as PR and media relations.
You will be based in the Liverpool head office, however occasional travel may be required to various sites around the Merseyside region.

The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver results within set timescales. Previous experience of working in a consumer focused industry would be preferred, along with an aptitude to working in a fast moving and innovative environment.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills:
• Clear understanding of marketing and business/operational issues.
• Ability to provide strong leadership and vision.
• Successful track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions to stand out from competitors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence across a range of business areas.
• Strong planning and project management skills.
•Ability to operate in apolitical stakeholder environment.
• A degree level education and/ or a professional marketing qualification.
