The team are well recognised as advisors for developers and clients across a broad range of areas with clients involved in the industrial, leisure, hotels, health and fitness, healthcare, retail residential and office sectors. The team have extensive experience and expertise in all stages of both commercial and residential developments from planning, funding, construction and title to the eventual sale and disposal. There is particular emphasis on investment and the retail and leisure industries. Examples of work include:
•Site acquisition and disposal
•Environmental law
•Joint venture development and structures
•Leasehold enfranchisement
•Tax structures and planning
•Social and sheltered property schemes
•Town and country planning
•Portfolio and shares
•Secured lending
•Auction sales

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of commercial property and related law. There will be a high quality caseload and there will be opportunities to get involved in marketing activities.
•Team members get involved in acting on the purchase of development sites.
•Dealing with the funding of developments (both in respect of the initial funding and the subsequent development).
•Supervising the construction team in dealing with construction documentation.
•Negotiating planning agreements.
•Preparing sales packages in respect of the sale of individual units (to include drafting precedent form of agreements and precedent forms of leases).
•Reviewing title documentation and existing leases.
•Landlord and tenant work (both residential and commercial).
•Acting on investment purchases and disposals of commercial properties (both let and vacant).

Ideally candidates will have experience in Commercial and Residential landlord and tenant work, finance work and site purchase and disposal. Experience of reviewing title documentation, negotiation of agreements and leases and acting on the setup of developments would be essential.
