An excellent opportunity has arisen for a competent corporate recover y specialist to join this busy firm providing assistance to the Partner and Managers. The main responsibilities of the role will involve the day to day control of a portfolio of corporate cases where you will have autonomy and ownership to handle issues and provide advice on corporate insolvency legislation.
Who we're looking for
You will be a numerate individual with some experience of working in a corporate recovery environment in a practice firm. You will be expected to have knowledge in the following
• working on a portfolio of cases
• setting up cases and progressing court liquidations and administrations
• reporting to creditors and preparation for meetings
• arranging insurance of assets
• statutory compliance issues
• liaising with banks, agents and solicitors
• cheque requests, paying in requests and all related journals
• administration and adjudication of creditors claims
