Director/ VP Structured Aviation Financing

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying developing and implementing sales to investors of aircraft and engines on lease to non US airlines as well as to develop tools to access new sources of capital.

The role:
Investor coverage responsibilities: The focus will be on cultivating relationships to maximize opportunity leads and develop relations with new investors, private or public vehicles, to broaden the teams ability to sell assets into the markets on the most advantageous terms.
• Identify, develop and execute sales of aircraft and engines from the portfolio.

• Deal Team Participation and Approval Process Role - Deal team support will include providing: (a) market intelligence on other deal activity/ structures; (b) deal structure input, particularly in respect of future liquidity; (c) development of transaction proposals based on knowledge of airline and financing market sources; and (d) provision of sell down opinions based on market knowledge and investor feedback where required

• Provide input into the Capital Markets team's proactive portfolio management efforts, including the development and preparation of aircraft type-specific disposition strategies and exposure management for large accounts.

• Evaluate and develop new products and new channels of distribution. Particular emphasis will be on further development of hedge funds, , private equity and related sources of capital .This aspect will entail interaction with Capital Markets staff from other parts of the organisation.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will possess:
• In-depth knowledge of global capital market activities and structures relating to aviation assets.
• Extensive contacts with financial markets players, particularly hedge funds.
• Strong corporate finance skill set, including an ability to discern, analyze and solve financial issues.
• Good project management and communication skills, including effective writing, presentation preparation and communication abilities.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Strategic thinker; Global mindset
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
• MS software proficiency - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
