As Landscape Manager you will be responsible for the management of all grounds maintenance operations ensuring the units budgets, objectives and targets are achieved whilst satisfying the client's requirements. It is essential that the department operates in a legal, safe and environmentally sensitive way and provides a professional service to meet the clients requirements. You will also have the opportunity to utilise your ability to create effective relationships to develop and expand the business both internally and externally.

Key day to day activities will include:
• Effective delivery of agreed business objectives, financial targets and full income recovery
• Effective performance as the lead contact with the client on all grounds maintenance and arboriculture issues
• The effective execution of routine and cyclic maintenance activities
• The effective utilisation of all Grounds Maintenance employees through training and development
• The effective utilisation of plant/equipment and materials
• The effective planning of the all grounds maintenance and arboriculture services
• Production of competitive and profitable quotes for existing and new business opportunities
• Effective personnel management

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will ideally reside within commutable distance to Hertfordshire and have a working knowledge of horticulture or arboriculture.
