Reporting to the Group Treasurer this is a wide ranging and integral position to facilitating the growth of the organisation.
Your key aim will be to develop and implement the Group's investment policy and strategy. This will involve managing and directing the creation and delivery of structured investment vehicles to ensure maximum tax, funding and administrational efficiencies.
Therefore, on a day to day basis your role will range from reporting on all investment activities of the Group against the investment strategies to actually investigating and recommending potential new investments. As you will act as a key interface between the development teams and finance you will also be required to set realistic targets, review strategies and report on the performance against the criteria set.
Furthermore, you will be monitoring and updating investment cash flow projections related to investment activities with line management of one member of staff.
Who we're looking for
The following is a brief overview of the kind of areas you must have previous of:
• Financial Appraisal, Modelling and Analysis
• Establishing Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) for investment purposes (particularly property investments)
• Tax efficient investment structures
• Financing & Contract negotiation
• Administration & delivery of projects and the provision of information
• Creation of corporate investment strategies and delivery against it.
There are many areas which you may have worked in to gain exposure to the above ranging from joint venture and project finance work, having acted as fund or investment manager, worked within property development or a development department or even in structured finances in banking.
