Electro Mechanical Design Engineer

Permanent ⁄ £25000 - £27000

Your role will entail:

1) Electrical architecture/schematic diagrams for new products
2) Design and detailing of all electrical wire harness applications
3) Detail draughting of sheet metal components to support new product development activity
4) Supporting operations and technical department with change requests to improve productivity, reduce costs etc.
5) Continuous improvement

Principle Accountabilities: -

1) products.
2) Wire harness design and detailing to support new products and existing ranges.
3) Creation and maintenance of BOM structures to support new and existing products.

Who we're looking for
HNC or equivalent in a related Engineering discipline
2) Experience of 2d/3d CAD, Autocad/Inventor preferred
3) Experience in a similar field
4) Design for manufacture experience-in a lean environment
5) Mistake proofing
6) Problem solving
7) Good communication skills
8) Ability to work with minimum supervision
