The Bid Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective coordination, production and delivery of bid responses and other proposals.
The role will involve:
• Copyediting and proofing, ensuring the best response for the company
• Close teamwork with the members of the bids team.
• Internal liaison - ongoing contact with Business Unit Managers and key business contacts to ensure best possible bid response
• Planning - management of projects to exact deadlines
• Business knowledge - building and maintaining excellent cross-business knowledge to feed proposal content and develop excellent processes
Who we're looking for
The successful Candidate will have Commercial Bid Management experience in managing or working as part of a team on large scale global cross-business bids.
Proven project management skills
Ability to investigate business issues and derive key messages.
Ability to make confident judgements on key messages for impact
Ability to oversee and manage several complex and detailed projects to fixed timetables concurrently
Ability to make cross-business relationships and extract business knowledge for best proposal completion
A high level of written and verbal communications skills commensurate with delivering effective proposals to some of the globe's largest organisations
Ability to deal confidently with peers and sales managers
