In the midst of business restructuring and change, this growing specialist retail company is looking to recruit part-qualified/ qualified Management Accountants. You will be responsible for monthly management accounting with a particular focus on performance analysis. Working closely with Sales and Operations managers you will develop reporting and management information providing financial support for the business. The role will involve a high degree of analysis and performance review, identifying any areas of concern and highlighting issues. You will have to challenge senior management and build relationships right across the business both within finance and externally. There will also be opportunities to get involved in project work.

Specific responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the various divisions of the company.
• Provide accurate, timely and relevant information to senior management accountant to resolve any queries within the finance department
• Reviews with managers and budget holders on a monthly basis to ensure they have a good understanding of the financial results
• Provide advice based on results to to enable managers to improve business performance
• Detailed analysis and reconciliation of control accounts and balance sheet accounts.

Who we're looking for
You must have well developed interpersonal skills and be comfortable working in a changing and busy working environment.

The key skills required for the Management Accountant position include:
• Solid all round management accounting ability including knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
• Strong analytical skills, spotting trends and making recommendations.
• Strong business partnering skills capable of building relationships and communicating cross functionally
• Part-qualified/ qualified preferably CIMA/ACCA/ACA
