Reporting to the Managing Director, based in Manchester, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in the ground / civil engineering sector of the construction industry. Managing one regional office, the role will require previous Profit and Loss experience of up to £10m. The region has the scope to considerably increase its turnover so the role will necessitate the successful candidate to have previous business development acumen.
Who we're looking for
The successful Operations Director will need to demonstrate the following:
• Experience in the Ground Engineering market.
• Experience in Managing up to 40 employees.
• Minimum of 5 years P&L responsibility.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative.
• Good communicator who is confident dealing with managing teams.

Earth materials such as soil, rock and water are the core foundations upon which social and physical infrastructure are built. It requires specialist knowledge from the early planning phase of investigation and analysis through to the design and construction of infrastructure.
