The Head of Procurement and Contracts will be based out of the global head quarters in Berkshire and will be responsible for developing purchasing and contracting strategies to support upstream development projects.
The size and scale of the programmes are very significant and will drive a 100% increase in energy supply current downstream markets. Primary activity will centre around the development of multiple exploration wells, pilot pipelines and full scale production sites for gas supply from a number of key global locations.
Your remit will be to own and develop the procurement and contracting function which will bind the commercial activities of the organisation. You will novate contracting strategies as well as manage key global supplier relationships and complex financing structures of major capital projects (Seismic acquisition, Off and On Shore Rig and Drill Projects).
Who we're looking for
• Senior Procurement leadership experience (Ideally Head of Procurement and Contracts)in a blue chip Oil & Gas business.
• Specific experience of managing large scale upstreampurchasing initiatives and strategies in the energy (oil and gas) sector.
• Deep knowledge of contracting strategies and supplier relationships for large scale international capital projects within Oil and Gas.
• Proven experience in successfully navigating multicultural and multiple stakeholder supply chains in the Oil and Gas sector (preferably upstream).
• Deep knowledge of process and systems (SAP / Oracle) supporting procurement activity in the Oil & Gas sector.
