Audit Manager

Big 4 Practice

In this role you will:
• Co-determine with the team, including Partners, the audit strategy and risk assessment.

• Ensure effective delivery of all audit and advisory services to clients including accounting technical matters.

• Identify areas of risk and direct effort appropriately to the different levels of risk.

• Actively seek opportunities to win new work and convert.

• Manage existing Key client relationships.

• Effectively manage teams, delegating work to appropriate individuals and providing stretching opportunities for staff.

• Coach and develop less experienced staff.

• Demonstrate strong technical and industry sector knowledge.

Who we're looking for
• ACCA or ACA (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification) with first time passes.

• Degree or equivalent qualification level.

• A minimum of 3-5 years post qualification relevant audit experience, preferably gained within a Top 10/ Big 4 environment.

• Experience of, and responsibility for, performance appraisal and development.

• Developed coaching and counselling skills.

• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques and ability to make judgements.

• Excellent technical and industry sector expertise.

• Evidence of being pro-active in identifying and driving forward initiatives which have made a difference either internally and/or externally at clients.
