InterContinental Hotels Group require a Legal Counsel or mid-level Contracts Manager to assist the Global Distribution Marketing team in the provision of commercial legal advice to the business. Reporting into the Director of Global Distribution Marketing, and working closely with the existing legal team in the EMEA and the US, the role will encompass the following responsibilities:
- drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide variety of agreements in connection with third party distribution channels, including on-line distributors, wholesalers, and travel agents.
- drafting online travel agent agreements, NDAs and technology contracts.
- management of precedent documents. Developing and maintaining templates.
- ad-hoc legal support as appropriate regarding proprietary IHG distribution channels, including websites, reservation centres and loyalty marketing programmes.
- provision of legal support during supplier meetings.
- some travel may be required.

Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified solicitor or contracts manager with previous in-house experience.
The role will interface with both internal and external personnel. You will therefore have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong commercial acumen and the ability to function in a fast-paced and time-critical environment. You will be flexible and professional in your approach and will be ambitious within your chosen career. Language skills would be advantageous although this is not a prerequisite for the role.
