Senior HR Advisor

Telecoms/Contact Centre

North East

This market leading business has experienced much change over recent years and has subsequently enjoyed a successful period of growth and prosperity. We are now looking to expand the HR team with an additional Senior HR Advisor who will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of its North East contact centre. We are seeking an outstanding HR generalist who can look after the following on site:
• Act as the primary point of contact for the workforce within your designated area of business
• Dealing with unions in a variety of issues
• Handling of complex disciplinaries and grievances from start to finish which must be dealt with in a professional manner and to all internal and external regulations
• Aiding the HR Business Partner both set and implement HR policies including recruitment strategy and performance management initiativeswhile also pro-actively tackling historic operational issues with innovative ideas
• Project based work as required on topics such as absence reduction, focus groups and work satisfaction analysis
• Supporting the training function to ensure staff remain at the exceptional standard the business commands
• Assisting with TUPE and similar procedures
This role is crucial on site and will work closely with the HR Business Partner. It is a great chance to stretch your current skills in a fast paced and challenging contact centre team environment. For the right candidate there will massive potential and scope for growth.

Who we're looking for
It is essential that you are an excellent communicator and confident character who can interact and bond with colleagues of all levels. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of contact centres or pressurised environments such as retail, telecoms or financial services. A full CIPD qualification would be advantageous, as would a good grasp of employee relations and the solutions to issues that arise in unionised environments.
