Orion Publishing Group is a leading Trade Publisher which continually innovates to maintain growth at faster than market rates. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant passionate about the Publishing industry to be part of this growth.

Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities as a Finance Manager will include:

• Management of team of a finance team of 6 staff
• Non-Trade Sales Reconciliation and Control (Turnover ca.£10m)
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Control
• Cashflow Forecasting and Control
• Stock Provisioning and WIP
• Maintenance and Development of all Financial controls
• Reporting to French Parent (Budgets, Forecasts and Management Accounts)
• Statutory Accounting
• VAT
• Company Secretarial Duties
• Pension and Payroll
• You will also get involved in a variety of projects including systems development and implementation

Who we're looking for
• This role would suit a Qualified Accountant looking for a 2nd job in Industry.
• You will have statutory accounting experience and proven management track record.
• Experience of systems development and implementation would be advantageous.
• You will also have a real passion for books and be pro-active and a self-starter. In turn, you will get a great opportunity to advance your career and develop your skill set.
