The successful applicant shall advise on all aspects of law including but not limited to the drafting and negotiating of contractual agreements, advising on legal aspects of international government tenders,dispute resolution, intellectual property support and other general business advice.
Key activities include:
- Review, advice on, and where necessary participate in the negotiation of contractual agreements
- Review regularly all third party partner agreements and ensure compliance with Group Policy
- Support bid team on legal aspects of international government tenders
- Monitor relevant law and where appropriate provide internal training on key areas to ensure full legal compliance and awareness of any changes in the law
- Advise business on general legal matters arising, briefing and manage external and in-house lawyers where appropriate
- Run legal due diligence to support acquisitions process as required
Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced contracts manager or junior lawyer with relevant legal experience. You will have strong contractual drafting skills and will have a proven track record in commercial negotiation. You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills
