As a result of increased business growth, Stryker UK now require an experienced Legal Advisor to take responsibility for legal matters across business divisions within the EMEA region.
Reporting to the European Chief Legal Counsel and based in UK Headquarters in Newbury, this is an essential position to ensure the fulfilment of European Corporate objectives.
Specifically, the post holders responsibilities will include legal advice in relation to:
• Contracts - sales, public procurement, GT&CS, distribution, supply and servicing and support in relation to manufacturing contracts relating to R&D, IP Transfer or Licensing, Consulting Contracts, OEM Agreements, Purchasing & Supply, Warranties, Advertising and Regulatory aspects, Product Liability and other matters.
• Legal Services & Support
• Marketing
• Clinical Studies
• Trade Regulations & Business Compliance
• Corporate support in liaison with Senior Management and Corporate teams
•The advice to HR Management on adhoc employment issues
Who we're looking for
-An experienced UK qualified Lawyer with a demonstrable record of success and achievement gained within either private practice or in-house, in a business operating in a heavily regulated industry, ideally in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical devices sector
- Experience across the spectrum of legal matters; but with a strong emphasis on contracts R&D, IP Transfer or Licensing, Procurement, Clinical Studies, Compliance, Advertising and regulatory, Litigation, Product Liability
- A good work ethic is required in an environment where a high degree of responsibility, accountability and integrity will be required from the outset.
