Reporting to the Demand and Supply Director, you will be responsible for leading the demand management function, owning the ODP process and submitting to the business a planning forecast for your region.
This will include Sales and Operations Planning and Business Forecasting (for existing and future products). You will champion these new processes in the commercial organisation and will ensure that a programme of continuous improvement is in place. You will also be responsible for:
• The management and training and development of your team.
• Leading the Sales and Operations planning process for Key manufacturing sites.
• Design and implement standardised KPI's on forecast accuracy to establish a consistent approach and share best practice.
• Review market conditions and make recommendations regarding future demand to manufacturing and senior management to facilitate strategic decisions.
Who we're looking for
You must have experience in Demand Planning and Sales Forecasting in a large manufacturing environment. You will be a skilled communicator who is able to influence at all levels and across many functions including Commercial, Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing. You will also have:
• Experience in managing a large number of sku's in particular make to stock items.
• Evidence of applying advanced quantitative analysis and statistical techniques, supported by relevant qualification.
• A proven track record of managing and motivating a team through a period of change.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels and cultures.
You will ideally have experience in using a Forecasting package such as Oracle, Mercia or Manugistics.
