We are looking for an exceptional individual who has the drive and personal ambition to grow towards a key managerial position. Black & Decker Europe represents the Worldwide Power Tools and Accessories Division of the Black & Decker Corporation and generates over $1billion of profitable revenue, employing nearly 3,500 people. The Black & Decker Finance Team for Europe, Middle East and Africa is a diverse group of financial professionals, based in offices throughout the region. From our regional Headquarters in Slough we manage the financial analysis, accounting and control functions for both the EMEA and UK operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst, who will play a pivotal role in the Black & Decker Finance Team for EMEA.
Who we're looking for
Candidates should be qualified accountants (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or approaching qualification. They should have a very strong analytical background and keen commercial awareness. Sound knowledge of financial modelling in Access and Excel, as well as experience in SAP, would be a clear advantage. First class communication skills, personal gravitas, and the ability to liaise with people in a multi-cultural environment are pre-requisites.
Critical to this role are the skills and personal qualities needed to build strong working relationships with non-finance colleagues throughout the region to support and develop the pricing strategy that underpins the four Black & Decker businesses across the EMEA - power tools, accessories, home products and outdoor products.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the pricing strategy for the Black & Decker businesses across EMEA.
• Define and implement controls to minimise our price exposure across customer groups.
• Drive financial analysis and evaluation of product and customer margins.
• Provide support to the EMEA Marketing Organisation
• Analyse market share and competitive pricing data.
• Play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process

What's on offer
A basic salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications plus competitive benefits package
