The Diamond Trading Company (DTC) is part of the De Beers family of companies, a global leader in diamond exploration, trading and sales.

In London DTC has a small but growing tax team which forms an integral part of the business. Due to the group's growth they are seeking to add a high quality Tax Manager to work on both UK compliance, cross border and advisory based issues.

Working alongside the Tax Manager, the role will encompass:

• Providing tax support to the DTC Strategic Finance team on commercial initiatives
• Monitoring of cross border funding and efficient profit repatriation for new overseas subsidiaries
• Providing support to group tax team (based in Luxembourg) on strategic projects and structuring initiatives
• Management of overseas tax audits
• Preparing UK tax computations and assisting on group reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with group transfer pricing policy and monitoring requirements in local jurisdictions.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate is likely to be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with:

• strong UK tax knowledge and practical experience on international cross border issues.
• An ability to apply technical position to practical situations and ability to articulate tax issues to commercial colleagues.
• The ability to work on a stand alone basis, or in a small tax team
