Operations Support Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, Commercial Support you will support and challenge the operations team to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations.
Your role will report on, and validate logistics performance levels creating a transparency of logistics costs. Working within a team environment, through your skills using a variety of data modelling and logistics modelling tools, you will be expected to liaise, support & challenge the operations team in addition to working hand in hand with the operations management accountant to ensure the operational data is coherent financially.

Key Tasks:

• Develop and facilitate data capture models within the operation
• Analyse, gather, interpret and present operational data
• Ensure data is coherent financially
• Improve data capture systems, processes and flows through liaising with IS teams.
• Monitor and report on trend analysis against budgets.
• Liaise closely with operations and finance teams.
• Recommend improvement initiatives & participate in project implementations.

Who we're looking for

• Must possess logistics operational knowledge & experience.
• Ability to convert logistical statistics into financial data.
• Intermediate to advanced level of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Ability to communicate and liaise with Senior & Mid Management.
