A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a membership diversity manager. As the suitable candidate you will:
• Ensure the availability of data and management information to inform the development of products and services, and access to representative structures
• Identify emergent trends in the profile of the membership of the Association and profession, and their potential impact on the Association's activities
• Develop engagement strategies with constituent parts of the membership as appropriate
• Contribute to the marketing strategy of the Association
• Develop and maintain a robust single equality scheme to underpin existing policy and to support policy development
• Ensure that the Association's commitment to equality and diversity is reflected in its role as a representative structure, service and product provider, employer, and opinion former
Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a candidate with:
• CIM post graduate diploma (desirable)
• Ability to develop clear membership profiles, and data and management information to underpin effective decision making
• Ability to develop effective marketing strategies to engage emergent membership groups
• Knowledge and or commitment to equality and diversity issues, and their impact on marketing strategies, workplace policy and democratic representative structures
• Ability to contribute to policy development, and translate expert advice into clear and relevant policy for the Association
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders and communicate with professionals at all levels
• Ability to identify training and development needs for staff, officers and committee members, and facilitate appropriate training for all groups
