Mitsubishi Electric are currently looking to recruit two Divisional Management Accountants to join the accounting team in Hatfield. In these pivotal, high profile and exciting roles you will be responsible for leading the reporting for a major division within Mitsubishi Electric. You will be a key member of the Division providing financial support to senior business unit heads.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to;
• Primary accounting responsibility for the business units
• Production of monthly management reports for local management
• Production of month end management account forecast; preparing reports for distribution.
• Detailed budgeting analysing/preparation of the divisional annual budget and twice yearly forecast
• Liaising with the other members of the section/department in order to manage the general tasks of the sections.
• Act as support to assist other Divisional Management Accountant with the maintenance and operation of TM1
• Involvement in year end closing activities including general ledger account reconciliation
• All of the above within specific timescale of responsibility.
A confident personality and strong communication skills are essential in these positions as you will be liaising with individuals at all levels and across disciplines. Who we're looking for
The successful candidates will be highly driven and self motivated, with excellent communication skills and commercial acumen. They will have an ability to deal effectively with people from across the organisation and create productive relationships. They will be team players, with good organisational and timekeeping skills combined with the ability to produce results under pressure. Ability to demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving, using creative solutions which meet both the needs of Finance and the business.
You will be a strong management accountant, will be studying for (ACCA/CIMA) and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of SAP is highly desirable, although not essential.
