International Group Tax Manager

This is an exciting senior international tax role which offers the scope to shape the tax strategy for this global operation, and raise the profile of the function within the wider business. Reporting to the Deputy Group FD in London, the International Group Tax Manager will have responsibility for all group tax matters including direct tax, VAT and employee tax issues.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Group tax planning and tax review of international acquisitions and new business investments.
• Completion of tax returns for all Group UK companies, Isle of Man companies and control of tax return process in other Group companies.
• Ensuring relevant transfer pricing regulations are complied with for transactions and companies resident in high rate tax jurisdictions.
• Review of Group VAT returns and resolution of VAT queries.
• Work in partnership with HR to develop tax efficient reward strategies.
• Responsible for all engagements with professional advisers on tax matters and relevant costs.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced International Group Tax Manager with a demonstrable record of implementing direct and indirect tax strategies for multinational organisations. You will have an in-depth knowledge of transfer pricing and international tax issues coupled with the gravitas to influence and implement tax savings across a diverse Group of companies.
You should be CA/CTA qualified with excellent communication and organisational skills and you will relish the challenge to work autonomously to drive the tax function forward.

What's on offer
