Financial Accountant

A Financial Accounting role now exists, as a result of an internal promotion, within the Peel Land and Property division. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and responsible for the group financial and management consolidation reporting.

Key areas of responsibility will include:
• Preparation of the land and property group balance sheet and its forecast
• Review of the land and property divisional management accounts
• Review of the land property divisional profit and loss, and cash flow forecasts
• Preparation of the management accounts of some of the peel groups smaller divisions
• Preparation of corporation tax forecast and estimations of quarterly corporation tax payments
• Preparation of group financial statements and consolidations
• Ad hoc assignments will be required as appropriate

Who we're looking for
This role will ideally suit, and provide the appropriate development to, an ACA/ ACCAqualified accountant making their first move into industry. With a working knowledge of consolidations, the successful candidate will be both technically and commercially competent, possessing with a keeneye for detail and strong processing skills.Moreover, theywill be a team player, with good communication skills driving your ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels.
