A Quality Engineer is required to provide support to manufacturing in delivering and supporting contract quality conditions.
The role will involve:-
• Assessing the quality of incoming goods documentation
• Liaison with purchasing organisation and supplier companies
• Giving advice on quality principles applicable to all stages of the manufacturing process
• Managing and conducting internal audits
• Analysis of quality records in order to ensure feedback of information to manufacturing departments
• Promoting continual improvement initiatives
• Involvement in corrective and preventive actions
• Supporting BSI and customer audits when required
The role will suit someone with an analytical mindset and a motivated approach to work. You must be able to demonstrate a good mechanical understanding and a history of working with people to develop both processes and product.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate should have;
Commercial Quality Control Management within the diagnostics industry
Strong experience and a strong working knowledge of diagnostic technologies
Proven management and supervisory skills
Experience of working within ISO9001:2000, GMP
Internal Auditor
Team Builder
Minimum qualifications required - HND/HNC in an engineering related discipline.
