As an Assistant Buyer Level 3 Menswear , based in the head office in the South West, you will have a great accountability over a large menswear range, with hands on product development.
Key accountabilities for this role:
• buying responsibility for specific areas within fashion
• manage and update delivery schedule
• negotiating with suppliers: in.e. Return, Markdown Support, Funding
• responsible for frequent reorders
• research new trends in the market and carry out regular comp shops
• monitor promotional activity and ensure that maximum sales are achieved from each promotion
• update the marketing calendar with sales and other relevant information
Who we're looking for
You must be
• passionate about fashion
• numerate with a highly commercial approach
• organised with good attention to detail
• have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• work well under pressure
• be a proactive team player
• have excellent PC skills (especially Excel)
You will be an existing Assistant Buyer / Senior Assistant Buyer for a fashion retailer, preferably with a background in menswear ready for the next step in your career.
