You will be responsible for:
• conducting assessments on NHS Trusts applying for Foundation Trust status
• applying due diligence methodology to assess financial viability and governance
of the applicant NHS Trust
• contributing to and assisting with presenting assessment findings and
recommendations to Monitor's Board and senior management

Who we're looking for
A qualified accountant or someone with a business qualification and/or relevant work experience within an area such as performance improvement, insolvency risk regulation, transaction services, financial management consultancy or corporate recovery. Furthermore, you need to be a proactive and independent thinker with a legacy of problem-solving and analytical skills. In order to be successful in this role, you will also possess outstanding communication skills in order to present advice and information in a clear and logical way.

About our client
Monitor was founded in January 2004. They are responsible for considering applications from the NHS Trusts seeking Foundation Trust status. As such, they apply due diligence methodology to review a range of aspects such as the quality of services provided and the financial health of the organisation.

Monitor has a workforce that comes from a range of backgrounds within the professional section, including financial services, the Big 4 and large commercial organisations.

What's on offer
£46,000 to £64,000 plus up to 32.5 days' annual leave and a very generous pension plan.
