As a Corporate Finance Associate within Leeds you will have the following key responsibilities:
• Supporting the Managers and Associate Directors of the department on assignments, having input particularly in to the basis for the valuation and conducting research
• Producing the inputs to the valuation for review by Managers/Associate Directors in respect of facts/research
• Ensuring adherence to all compliance and regulatory rules
• Taking responsibility for writing reports and co-ordination of the collection of data by juniors
• Co-coordinating billing on projects
• People management and coaching for junior members of staff
• Financial modelling
Who we're looking for
Specific requirements for the Corporate Finance Associate will include:
• Strong academic background ideally including ACA qualification or equivalent;
• Ability to build and develop strong client relationships;
• Experience of project managing large or complex assignments;
• A sound knowledge of Excel is required as some modelling including cash flow forecasting will be involved;
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Some knowledge of the range of valuations methodologies to include DCF and the range of multiple of earnings methods;
• Strong ability to analyse and solve problems.
