Fantastic opportunity to support the Company Secretary in their administrative duties, liaising as required with Companies House and other authorities as well as managing internal business. This will include ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and sector guidance.
Key accountabilities:
- To report and and support the Company Secretary at all times
- To act on instruction from the Board and/or Company Secretary ensuring that confidentiality and sensitivity is adhered to
- To direct the preparation of agenda, papers and minutes for the Board and committees
- To prepare and finalise the annual returns of the Company and its subsidiaries
- To maintain the highest standards of probity, professionalism and integrity and encourage the application of best practice in the organisation of Board and committee meetings
- To help manage the processes of Board induction, updating and evaluation
- To help develop and maintain the relationship between corporate governance and its implementation
- To assist with Data Protection issues
Who we're looking for
The successful applicant shall have legal expertise or the ability to understand and interpret legal information, seeking advice where necessary and communicating it effectively to the Board. You will have provided previous support to the Board and Senior management and will have experience of working with diplomacy and discretion at a senior level. You will be ICSA qualified and line management experience is desired.
